In High Temperature Materials Center, we conducted "High Temperature Materials 21 Project" , in which we developed high temperature materials to realize ultra-efficient gas turbines for combined-cycle power generations, local power systems, next generation jet engines, and so on. These materials include Ni-base single crystal superalloys with new coating systems, Ni-base forged superalloys for turbine disks, platinum group metals (PGMs)-base refractory superalloys, and so on. We conducted world wide collaborations to enhance the researches mentioned above.
